CITIZENS' HOSE REMEMBERS THE FALLEN - STATION 44

On Sunday October 16th at 10 am the fire bell in the hose tower, will ring along with community church bells,to mark the National Fallen Firefighters Memoial Weekend tribute to those 72 firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2010. Since the beginning of the foundation in 1981 a total of 3400 firefighters have been honored for their ultimate sacrafice including Citizens' Hose Company's firefighter H Thomas Tucker who died in the line of duty 29 years ago in August of 1982
