Wake-Up Delaware - Smyrna, DE
Saturday, October 31, 2009

On Saturday, October 31st, members of the Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary participated in the Wake-Up Delaware program from 9am to 2pm. 50 detectors and 64 replacement batteries were handed out to members of the public. Callie Keen, one of our Fire Prevention Queens, was on hand to help out with the program. Members of the Delaware Pharmaceutical Society offered free diabetec screenings to those interested. Being that the event was held on Halloween this year, all children were given some treats and reflective trick-or-treat bags filled with some fun Fire Prevention goodies. Thanks to everyone for helping out and remember to change your batteries every time you change your clocks.
