Small fire in a Commercial Structure

At 2108 hrs, Station 44 was dispatched for a commercial structure fire. 442 made the response with a crew of 6 under the command of 44-19 (E.Neeld). Kent Center advised the the RP stated there was a fire in the fryer. 442 arrived on scene to find a single story strip mall with nothing evident. Crews found a gas fed fire behind the greaser. A 1 1/2 line was pulled. Ladder 44 was instructed to stage at the A/D corner, Engine 3 was told to take the Charlie side and Engine 4 told to stage at the hydrant. Interior crews were able to secure the gas and extinguish the fire. The Scene was placed under control. 44 units cleared, turning the scene over to the property owners.
