Smoke in the Apartment - 302 McLane Gardens

Station 44 was alerted for a reported house fire, with the initial report of an apartment filling with smoke. 44-2 responded under the command of 44-19 (E. Neeld). 44-2 arrived with no conditions showing and securing their own hydrant. The crew of 44-2 investigated the smoke condition. Ladder 44 was instructed to back in and prepare the aerial. 44-19 placed the situation under control upon finding unattended cooking in an adjacent apartment. All units returned.
