On Friday, 11/11/11, about 70 memebers of the Citizens' Hose Company and Band made the trip to New York City to march in the 2011 Veteran's Day Parade. A huge thank you to Bob Merrill for starting the application process close to a year ago to get us entered into the parade. Also a big thank you to both Clayton and Leipsic fire companies for going on dual response while a large group of us were out of town. A great time was had by all and the officers and members wish to thank all those that have served. It was an honor to be represent Delaware in such a memorable event.
