MVC with Entrapment

At 1522 hrs Station 44 along with Ambulance 64, Km-6, and Trooper 4 were dispatched to Route 1 Northbound just South of Exit 114 for a MVC with possible entrapment. Rescue/Engine 44-4 made the Response with a crew of 5, under the command of 44-19 (E.Neeld) at 1523hrs. Rescue/Engine 44-4 arrived on scene to find one car off the road and into the woods. Patients were egressed challenged, Crews went to work with the Large Spreader and Cutters along with having the combination tool on stand by. The 1 3/4 inch line was pulled as well. Crews worked to remove both driver side doors to assist EMS was removing the patient. Both patients were extricated at 1540hrs. The Scene was placed under control. Ambulance 64 transported 2 patients to KGH.  All units cleared and the scene was turned over to DSP.
