At 0325 the CHC was dispatched for an MVC with entrapment and pt not alert. E44-4 under command of 44-16(Hankins) responded within minutes followed by R44 & 44-0. Crews arrived to find a single vehicle which had struck a large concrete & stone fence post causing heavy front end damage. Crews were able to open the drivers door by unlocking it and found the driver to be conscious but very confused and with a possible head injury. Crews secured the vehicle and assisted EMS crews with removal and packaging of the pt. The crew from 44-0 secured a LZ for trooper 4 in the NB lanes of 13 just north of the scene. The pt was flown to CER for evaluation. Scene was TOT DSP & DelDot. All units were back in quarters at 0414.

OIC was 1st Asst. Chief Isaac J. Hankins. CHC had 39 members in service for 49 minutes.
